(More customer reviews)I hate to write this review, and I hope my experience is way outside the norm, but it was very disappointing.
I had a pair of Serengeti's about 20+ years ago, for 6 - 7 years and was quite happy with them.I hadn't had a pair of "good" sunglasses since, and thought it was time to treat myself.I ordered this pair just before leaving on a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.
They came quickly, in typical Amazon fashion, and all looked good initially.A sharp looking pair of shades!I put them on, and although a bit heavy due to the glass lenses, they fit well, with the "S" frame design hugging my face nicely.I tried them on around the house for a few minutes, and thought all was well.However, when I took them off, I noticed one of the lenses had cracked/starred in the corner from the stress of the "S" frame tension!In less than 5 minutes!Wow, was that disappointing.
I have to say Amazon stood behind them, and refunded my money very quickly.Not sure I want to try another pair though.YMMV.
