Unfortunately, I was unable to try these on locally before purchasing and made my decision based on previous Oakley glasses I owned.

This particular model did not fit my face well, compared to other models such as the Whisker, A Frame, M Frame and others. In contrast, these glasses were far wider and bulkier than others I had owned and looked like something akin to Blue Blockers or what my wife wore home after having Lasik done. They may be fine for someone with a wider facial structure, but for me they were not what I expected after owning several other pairs of Oakley.

Product Description:
Authentic style means going against the standard. That includes the standard idea that you have to sacrifice performance just to look good. This rare edition of the Spike utilizes a virtually indestructible metal that is so lightweight, the defense industry reserves it for fighter jets. But the all-day comfort of titanium is just part of the story. High Definition Optics (HDO®) offers unbeatable clarity. Pure Plutonite lenses optimize protection against impact and UV. And supple Unobtainium components increase grip with perspiration. These sunglasses set a new standard that turns its back on the uninspired. Oakley didn't design them to make an enemy of mediocrity. It just worked out that way.
