(More customer reviews)The shutter shades are just fashionable right now, and some people may want to stick with fashion, but throw in their own personal tastes more than others, which is why I bought the diagonal shades. Personally, though, the horizontal look better on me, and most people. If you're going to buy shutter shades, I'd stick to horizontal. But, I got a neat surprise when riding in a dark car with my friends. They all looked at me, and said "oh my god! You're glasses glow in the dark!" and indeed they did. It was a nice surprise, but I would still like to have the horizontal shades.
