(More customer reviews)These extremely lightweight Calabria Flexies are just great for everyday use. They're rimless, so it doesn't make the wearer look geeky or nerdy (not that I have anything against geeks ornerds). The temple and nose-bridge are made of TR90 Grilamid plastic developed in Switzerland. They're lightweight but high in tensile strenght. Flexible but has a memory-form. The finish is non-shiny (not like other plastic frames which have a sheen in them), in fact the frames has a rubbery look and feel to it. The lens are insconpicous and streamlined, so you don't look like a fish in a bowl (not that I have anything against fish in a bowl). The power in the lens is right on the money. I ordered two of these (a cobalt blue and an ebony; one for work and one for home); but not from Amazon. This cyber merchant is based in Florida and they sell the Flexies $12 cheaper than Amazon. They also have the promo: order above $25 and your shipping is free, just like Amazon. That's why I ordered two pairs. Don't buy your reading glasses at a drugstore because they're almost the same price (plus sales tax) as Calabria's. And Calabria's has better quality and workmanship than those funky-looking ones at the drugstores. This is your eyes and persona we're talking about - so spend a little in them. I have only one caveat though about these Flexies: the nose pads can't be adjusted, it's a little wide-gap for a slender nose. Otherwise I would have rated these Sleek and Cool looking reading glasses a five star.
