(More customer reviews)My doctor suggested polarized sunglasses. I found that the shield style with wrap-around lenses really gave me tremendous coverage and cut the glare. They are super light weight and the most comfortable I've ever experienced. On top of that, the men seem to think they look great, too! The earpieces are made with memory material and return to their original form if altered. That's great if the glasses are straight when you purchase them. I had to return one pair and purchase a second to find a pair that was straight since adjusting them is just a temporary (very temporary) fix. When you get a pair that is straight, you'll love them!

(More customer reviews)Recently having refractive surgery (Lasik), I needed sunglasses to deal with the glare of the sun, needed added UV protection and a lens that would give more contrast/clarity of vision.I was searching for a pair of sunglasses that would accomplish that goal when driving and casual wear.

I considered other brands of sunglasses that had polarized lenses such as Oakley, Costa del Mar, and Ray Ban.No other lens gave me the clarity and improved visual clarity that this set can achieve.

The Kahuna which means 'expert', lives up to its name.There are many features that set this pair of sunglasses apart from the competition:

A superthin glass lens
Polarized plus 2 lens that cut UV radiation, blue light and glare
Saltwater effective coatings on the lenses
Adjustable metal core temples
Spring hinges

The design, by the manufacturer is recommended for OBLONG ,ROUND ,OVAL face shapes.The lenses have a slight lateral coverage to cut out glare from the periphery of vision.

The polarized feature cuts through the intense glare of the sun and gives a higher degree of contrast than other sunglasses that I have tried.The styling is superb, as is the solid construction.The glasses are lightweight and comfortable.The fit is perfect.

The glasses come with a microfiber drawstring case and solid hard clamshell case.

The cost is high, but the features are truly functional and unmatched!

VERDICT:

I highly recommend this line of sunglasses.These are the best sunglasses I have ever worn.
