Lots of compartments, pouches, and pocket to story stuff.Laptop has its own compartment with a strap to keep it in place.Side pockets are big enough to store a large energy drink can or water bottle.No real drawbacks that I can see.Excellent bag at a great price.

Franklin Covey 15.4" Leather Ladies Laptop Tote Review

(More customer reviews)I got this bag to use for work and it is roomy enough for my 15" MacBook Pro and a few other small books or things. I like the bag a lot and the protection is sufficient for my laptop. The only issue I have is that the inside 'latch' that closes over the top edge of the laptop is a stretchy elastic piece of material with velcro at the end, and the elastic material keeps getting caught on the velcro, pulling and unraveling. I am going to cut this thing off. It's not exactly important and I don't think my laptop is going to go flying out, especially with the zipper closed.

McKlein USA Clinton Leather Wheeled 17" Laptop Case Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this Mcklein leather bag to replace my 20 dollar canvas-like rollaway I had bought earlier this year for my DJ gear. I absolutely love the pockets and amount of space it has. I'm able to fit my 17" HP laptop (dv71245dx) in the laptop compartment with no extra room to spare but it still fits nice. The other compartment holds my 10" netbook, large notepad, microphone, and still has room for stuff like a bottle of water, deodorant, shaving cream, etc. The power cables for each laptop are kept in the 2 zip up compartments back where the handle base is. These zippers are also used to separate the bag from the rollaway unit which is another great feature, but I don't see the need to remove the bag. The wheels are super smooth, and most importantly the bag feels sturdy and stands up straight when fully loaded with stuff, which my other bag tended to lean forward when fully loaded. The front 2 pockets are great for cell phone and keys and has plenty of room as well as pen holders. It says it's "genuine cowhide leather" if you are wondering about leather quality. It's not fine leather jacket quality but it's great for 100 bucks.

(More customer reviews)I have a simular Samsonite bag that is 2 years old and it was time to replace it. I travel a lot and I am hard on these bags.
I really like several updated features on this new model. 1. Feet at each end adds stability and keeps case in shape when towing another bag. 2. With the handle extended and another case riding on top, the case naturally leans back so when you stop the bag on top stays put. With my old case the bag on top would fall forward. 3. The zippers and piping are heavy duty and better constructed. 4. It is easy to load and has plenty of room. The upgraded wheels make it easy to pull even with another bag on top.

I paid less than $100 for this bag and it is much nicer than my old one! I would highly recommend this bag.

(More customer reviews)I actually didn't purchase this bag specifically for my netbook. I was looking for a smaller, portable, underarm type briefcase for a small paper notebook, book, pens and some other gear/gadgets. For that, it's actually worked out very well for me. You have the main compartment which is pretty spacious, for my notebook and the book I'm reading (currently Samual Adams, A Life - Ira Stoll) and my Ampad Writing pad, loose papers, receipts, etc. Then there are the two front pockets for pens, calculator, etc.

I did try my Dell netbook in it also, and it fits great and seems very secure with the padded case. Overall a nice bag. It's a big pricey for the size, but it was the best thing I could find at this time for my intended use.
