Lots of compartments, pouches, and pocket to story stuff.Laptop has its own compartment with a strap to keep it in place.Side pockets are big enough to store a large energy drink can or water bottle.No real drawbacks that I can see.Excellent bag at a great price.

Waiting for refund, but the company was very nce about the return. If a larger size was available, I would buy the same larger case from the same seller.

Before I went on my trip, I was paranoid about pickpockets. The MetroSafe kept my valuables safe and gave me peace of mind!I love the ability to secure (latch) the zippers from prying hands, the steel cables in the straps, and the numerous pockets for organization!
The only drawback, if there is one, is that this can't be machine washed.
I've chunked my Coaches, Prada, and designer bags into the closet for special occasions and now use the MetroSafe for practical, every day use. I highly recommend this for anyone who travels, even in your own city....

(More customer reviews)Great bag, only two complaints:1) The shoulder strap should be full leather rather than nylon.Nylon detracts from the style somewhat.2) One end of the shoulder strap is sewn into the bag, making it impossible to remove and replace.Both ends should be attached via metal clip.Otherwise, best bag I could find.Looks good for business, plenty of pockets inside & out, fits a 15.4" laptop with room for a thick folder or portfolio, nice leather.

I ended up breaking down and buying one and haven't regretted it a bit.This bag has lots of room with several outer pockets to place frequently used items.If I need to get anything out of the bag I don't have to take it off to see what I'm doing, which I had to do with my backpack style bag.Plus the looks can't be beat....a variety of patterns in a handy messenger style bag.

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag for a recent trip to Italy - my first international trip - because I was concerned about petty theft.I had heard all kinds of stories from experienced travelers about pickpockets and thieves, and I specifically bought this bag for its security features.I can't say for sure how effective the security features are (how does one measure that?), but having this bag definitely put me at ease, and I had no problems with theft during my two-week trip (and I was in some pickpocket-heavy places).The larger, main pocket is great for items like notebooks or magazines (which I always carry, as a writer-grad student), with enough room for my travel journal, netbook and travel guides; the front pocket is perfect for keeping smaller things, like keys, camera and cash convenient.I kept my passport folio and credit cards in the "hidden pocket" in the back, which is deep enough that you can essentially keep these things "buried", and then I kept my daily spending cash in a little interior pocket in the front compartment.The water bottle pocket on the side was big enough to hold a full liter-size bottle (essential if you're in Italy in the summer), and - amazingly enough - even when the water bottle was wet from condensation or from filling, while the outside of the bag became wet, my items inside stayed perfectly dry.This bag even proved useful as an overnight bag on a trip to Venice - it was big enough to hold all my regular stuff, plus a set of clothes and toiletries for the next day.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this from Little Dudes and Divas for 20% on Father's Day.It was a cute bag but it didn't hold everything I needed for my two kids.If my potty trained boy didn't need a folded cushie potty set I think it would be fine.The other problem was it was clearly too big for me.I stand 5'2" and it was clearly made for a dude or taller person.I would've kept it if it didn't hang too low on my hip and if it was a little smaller.
