The different lenses have been great while skiing, biking, driving and just sitting around.

Also, when I accidentally dropped then stepped on them, scratching one of my lenses the people at BLOC were really great about getting me a replacement lens.

(More customer reviews)I used to work for the sunglass hut and am very picky when it comes to my sunglasses.(I nearly freaked when I saw a sales clerk for another store use her shirt to wipe dust of a pair of glasses)My glasses came in PERFECT condition.They didn't have any microscratches on the lenses (from someone's t-shirt).I am also pleased with the quality of polarization.I also have a pair of $300 Maui Jim's and can't tell a difference in polarization.I've already taken my Costas on the lake and found them boat worthy.I strongly recommend these glasses and hope you enjoy them as I do.

(More customer reviews)I bought these glasses for my husband for fathers day. these are his second pair, his first pair lasted 8 years, would have lasted longer if he had not smashed them in his truck door. this is by far the best price for these glasses. on average they start at $150 and up. so this is a great price for these glasses. the only thing is I knew the "style" of glasses he wanted but the picture posted is not the style of the Turbine glasses. some people may not know that. the pic should be updated. these glasses offer great protection from the sun . My husband fishes on the big lake and couldnt survive without these. shipping time was very fast and I am very happy with my purchase.

(More customer reviews)I got these to replace a pair of Maui Jim Seafarers. I think the lens quality is equal. The frames seems more sturdy on the costas, maybe because they are more flexible and can absorb more shock. The frame style is very different, I like the MJ's better, but time to move on. I wish I could get the Costas with prescription, but the would require not having the costas 580 lens.

(More customer reviews)After about 2-year of normal use, the part of the sunglasses frame that touches the nose started to delaminate (in the form of small "bubbles" underneath the surface), and the glossy finish started to chip off.I asked a Costa Del Mar salesman about this problem at the Fred Hall fishing show at San Diego. He told me that the plastics Costa Del Mar used their older models was sensitive to sunscreen, and they have fixed the problem by switching to different material. He suggested me to return the sunglasses to Costa Del Mar for warrant repair. However, when I did what he suggested, the repair facility manager Samantha refused to honor their warranty and insisted that the delamination was normal and not covered by their lifetime warranty. I found this explanation appalling. If they think this is normal, they should inform consumers that "our sunglasses will delaminate under normal use in a bout 2 years and it is not covered by warranty". She also claim that the fault is not on their defective material, but instead she said my skin is the problem that caused the problem. I have multiple pairs of brand name sunglasses for years, such as Maui Jim and Smith, yet I have NEVER had any delamination problem with them. Last time I checked, I still have the same skin when I wear these sunglasses. Instead of finding lame excuses for their defective product,Costa Del Mar should admit the use of defective material, honor their promise to consumers and fix the sunglasses for me. As of today, they still use some lame excuse to refuse fixing the sunglasses.
